Reports to: Sales Director

Concept: Eyewear Distribution (Luxury Brands)

The Job: 

To develop and increase business through strong dealer network for designated brands in the assigned territories and in sync with the organizational goals.

Job Description:

  • Managing business in the allocated markets in GCC/MENA/assigned region
  • Ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets as per the budgets
  • Reporting and analysis of sales and forecasting of monthly sales plan
  • Identifying opportunities, supporting & maintaining optimum quality distribution network
  • Dealing & developing dealer accounts & POS
  • Maintaining close working relationship with key accounts & retailers to gain high levels of trade support and product loyalty
  • Effective Debtor management (Collecting receivables from customers & dealers within pre-decided credit norms)
  • Handling an assigned portfolio of eyewear brands
  • Involved in selection /ordering of assortments
  • Ensuring brand visibility at the retail outlets, in-store merchandising, promotions and activities
  • Providing product and sales training to retail staff and customer service
  • Implementing strategies to promote brand, activate marketing initiatives, product launch activities, product ageing analysis, forecasting, distribution & logistics
  • Participating in programs for innovative dealer promotions, incentives and training programs
  • Providing senior management inputs on market intelligence (Brands, market share, competitor activity)
  • Coaching team of sales executives
  • Travelling extensively in the allocated territories

Skills Required:

  • 5 to 7 year of relevant sales distribution experience in the domain of eyewear, optical, luxury or high-end fashion. Distribution experience is must
  • MBA from a reputable institution is preferred
  • Strong communication and good command over English language
  • Good Interpersonal, analytical & presentation skills
  • Reasonable knowledge & expertise in luxury retail, in a developed market
  • Financial savvy, understanding of pricing, margins, profitability & essential business acumen
  • A flare for visual merchandizing
  • Enjoy frequent travelling & field work
