The Job

To lead the Marketing function in line with the objectives of the Group. This would entail planning, developing and execution, both online and offline. Oversee the implementation of all activities within the department with a team.

Job Description

  • Planning the marketing and  promotional campaigns of the Group and the Brands. Overseeing its implementation from ideation to execution
  • Planning print media, outdoor, digital and print campaigns
  • Overseeing and approving marketing material from website banners to hard copy material such as print, outdoor and radio campaigns
  • Working with creative agencies in copywriting, design and layout to produce branded marketing materials
  •  Building strategic relationships and partnering with key industry players, publishers, agencies and vendors
  •  Public Relations: Planning and overseeing the PR calendar for the brands with the team. Maintaining relationship with media houses
  • A&P Budget Management: Preparing and monitoring the marketing budget and allocating funds wisely. Managing, tracking and collating all Marketing spends in coordination with the brand Managers and Finance department
  • Event Management and Partnerships: Planning and organizing events from Start to Finish, such as Store openings, Golf tournaments and other Brand related events
  • Managing partnerships with various partner Golf clubs, managing contracts, sponsorships and maintaining good relations
  • Seeking new opportunities to build the brand visibility by driving collaborations
  • Overseeing the management of outdoor advertising and managing their contracts, leasing and renewals and liaising with brands in this regard
  • Overseeing the planning, strategizing and execution of Radio advertising, including creation of advertisements and campaigns for the Group entities as well as for the brands.
  • Digital/Online: Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
  • Experience and know-how of Digital and Social Media Campaigns, buying models, tools and measurement.
  • Being a part of the Management team for the Group’s ECommerce portals, a comprehensive understanding of Ecommerce strategies and techniques, deciding on product selection, and product management and driving growth strategies to ensure achievement of ECommerce budgets
  • Liaising with the brand teams with regard to the brand plans including developing and managing online Ecommerce promotions and campaigns
  • Developing plans to improve Ecommerce results in terms of site traffic, customer behavior, conversions and profitability
  • Planning and implementing Sales & Marketing Campaigns for owned web-shops and external Marketplaces including liaising closely with external agencies and the marketing teams of the external web portals
  • Liaising with Creative designers to develop campaign artworks, EDMs, landing pages and all materials required for the promotions across the portals
  • Having a basic understanding of Ecommerce programs and their functioning and market awareness, with a view to continuously improve the Ecommerce operations of the Group
  • Interacting and Liaising with Brand Principals


  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related disciplines from reputed institutes
  • Relevant experience of 8 - 10 years in a similar set-up, having managed teams including eCommerce/digital portfolio
  • Knowhow and experience in managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, display advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Manager etc.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
