The design of ZEPPELIN watches is inspired by the era and spirit of the majestic airships invented and built by German entrepreneur and engineer Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin in the early 1900s. The largest Zeppelin airship ever constructed was the 245-meter-long Hindenburg, which featured luxurious sleeping quarters, a dining room, a lounge, and an observation deck, combining aviation and luxury like never before.
The ZEPPELIN watch brand belongs to the family-run watch specialist POINTtec, based in Munich. ZEPPELIN watches are developed there before being assembled by highly qualified personnel in the company’s own Bauhaus-style building in Ruhla, Thuringia. POINTtec is one of Germany’s largest watch manufacturers and works exclusively with first-class, reliable suppliers, many of whom also provide components to renowned luxury watch brands. The ZEPPELIN collection ranges from quartz watches to mechanical chronographs and other high-end timepieces.
