Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Handling day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Thoroughly checking retail stores Daily Sales Reports and acting on the exceptions
• Preparing monthly prepaid and accrual schedules and assisting with month-end closing activities
• Maintaining accurate records for vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation of Vendor SOAs
• Helping prepare audit schedules and supporting audit activities when needed
• Checking and processing retail staff incentives, overtime, conveyance etc
• Assisting with inventory-related accounting activities including summarizing stock take reports
• Recording, reconciling and processing Custom and freight related documents
• Assisting managers on various work related to accounts, analysis and reporting

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–5 years of accounting experience (retail industry experience preferred)
• Familiarity with retail ERP/accounting software
• Good Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
