Hamilton x The Odyssey: Born from a Myth
Hamilton and Christopher Nolan reunited to create a timepiece shaped by The Odyssey, continuing a shared journey that began with Interstellar, Tenet and Oppenheimer. As the watchmaker of filmmakers, Hamilton has developed a unique relationship with cinema, creating watches that extend storytelling beyond the screen. This collaboration transformed the world of Nolan’s mythic action epic into a highly limited creation inspired by narrative, symbols and imagination.
Hamilton’s connection with filmmaking spans decades, with timepieces playing an integral role in some of cinema’s most memorable moments. Through screen appearances, custom creations and story-driven designs, the brand continues to explore the relationship between watches and storytelling. Inspired by a world that predates mechanical timekeeping, The Odyssey presented a unique opportunity to translate mythology and cinematic vision into a contemporary timepiece.
Based on the Khaki Field Automatic, the limited edition features a 42 mm bronze case with a circular finish, a black brushed dial inspired by Odysseus’ helmet and sword-shaped hands reflecting his blade. A titanium case back depicts the hero’s helmet alongside Christopher Nolan’s signature. Completed with a brown grained leather strap, commemorative packaging and Athena’s pin replica, it offers collectors a tangible piece of movie magic.
