The latest Captain Cook introduces a striking new expression of the collection, defined by a shimmering yellow gold coloured dial with a diamond powder-like finish. Created through a complex multi-stage process, its captivating texture catches and reflects the light with every movement of the wrist. Inspired by the original 1962 design, it brings a fresh, organic character to the collection, enhanced by a box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both faces.
While the dial takes centre stage, the Captain Cook remains true to its purposeful design. Bold hands, applied indices, a turning bezel and a date display at 3 o'clock ensure exceptional clarity, while the Rado calibre R763 automatic movement delivers an 80-hour power reserve and antimagnetic Nivachron™ hairspring for dependable precision. Housed in a versatile 39 mm case, it offers a balanced fit with unmistakable presence.
Designed to adapt effortlessly, the Captain Cook is supplied with both a stainless steel bracelet and a black rubber strap, interchangeable using Rado's EasyClip quick release system.
