OMEGA Brings the 007 First Light Timepiece Into Reality
OMEGA continued its enduring connection with James Bond through the launch of a new timepiece featured in the action-adventure video game, 007 First Light. Developed in collaboration with IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios, the game explored the reimagined origin story of a 26-year-old Bond. At the centre of the missions was an OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, equipped with specialised tools that supported players on their journey to earning 007 status.
Inspired by its appearance in the game, OMEGA transformed the virtual watch into a reality, welcoming it into the James Bond watch collection. The 44 mm stainless steel Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph is the first chronograph within Bond's Diver 300M lineage. Distinctive details included a polished black ceramic bezel and pushers, laser-engraved wave dial, PVD bronze gold accents, rhodium-plated hands and indexes, and a date window positioned at 6 o'clock.
The watch is presented on an exclusive NATO strap inspired by the visual universe of 007 First Light, featuring a black, grey, and beige colourway with dedicated 007 and First Light engravings. Driven by the self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, it delivers exceptional precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. Each timepiece was housed in a special presentation box inspired by the suitcase used to carry OMEGA watches within the game.
