Longines: The Official Partner and Timekeeper of Fashion Friday at Meydan Racecourse
Swiss watchmaker Longines served as the Official Partner and Timekeeper of Fashion Friday at Meydan Racecourse on 23 January. A long-time supporter of horse racing in Dubai and worldwide, Longines backed a prestigious nine-race Dubai Racing Carnival card composed entirely of Pattern races, reinforcing its strong connection to the sport.
The headline event was the G1 Maktoum Challenge, a key Dubai World Cup preparation race over 2000m on dirt, won in 2025 by Walk Of Stars. The evening also featured the G1 Jebel Hatta, won by Romantic Warrior, alongside several Group 2 and Group 3 contests staged across both turf and dirt.
Dubai Racing Club praised Longines for its enduring commitment to equestrian sport. Founded in Switzerland in 1832, Longines remained synonymous with elegance and precision, and its partnership continued to strengthen Dubai’s reputation as a global racing hub, including support of the Longines Dubai Sheema Classic.
